ReligionsOver 98% of Tongans are Christian; 41% of the population are members of the Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga(Methodist); 16% are Roman Catholics; 14% are members of the Church of Jesus Christ: 17% belong to other churches.

Sports PlayedThe national sport in Tonga is rugby union followed by rugby league. While judo, surfing, volleyball, and cricket have gotten popular in the years.

FoodIn Tonga the people eat fruits, animals and seafood. "Talo" and "Manioke" are vegetables and are popular sides to meals. They grow in the ground. At big feasts pig is eaten and often roasted on the ground.

Customs The customs in Tonga are very different than in Kissing in public is not done, Tongans feel deeply ashamed and embarrassed if they see it. When invited to a Tongan family dinner you sit on the floor and eat with your fingers. Being drunk in public is against the law so do not let An officer catch you being drunk. People like to please each other instead of saying the truth they say what you might want to hear, so ask 3 people and then decide out of the 3 who lies.

Visiting TimesThe best time to visit would be when we have winter Or when they summer, if you like hot weather. if you like cooler weather(around 60°) then you should go in the summer.
